Qucha, Lake

Qucha is the lake. Washed sky denim to deep Titicaca blue, cooled with teal weave. It is the family of the water that sits at the top of the Andes, the highest big lake in the world, which is bluer than any photograph of it.

The colours

Sky, mid blue and navy bodies, each with a handwoven brim or stripe in the blues of the weave: harbour blue on the Callao, lakeside stripe on the Puno, earth-tone stripe on the navy Cajamarca. The Copacabana is the palest cap we make; the La Paz the deepest blue.
